First look at Rihanna’s new coffee table book…

Rizzoli Publications have unveiled the very first look at Rihanna’s new book Rihanna. Advances of the book arrived yesterday, and comes complete with a well packaged die-cut cover…

According to the singer, the book will feature images that people have never seen before. “It’s like a backstage pass, like a fashion book. It is a creation of Rated R from step one all the way to what it is now” she says “From all the steps, how it was created and how it came to this”.

The upcoming coffee table book is in collaboration with artistic director Simon Henwood and will be released this month. The book serves as an accompaniment to Rihanna’s 2009 album Rated R. The book was originally titled Rihanna: The Last Girl on Earth after her tour, but was later changed to simply Rihanna.

Will you be getting yours? I certainly will. The design looks sick!!

The cover for Cheryl Coles’s first book has arrived…

The cover and info for Cheryl Cole’s new autobiography has just surfaced…

Here’s the press release:

Get ready for ‘Through My Eyes’, the first official book from Cheryl Cole!

In the book, which will be published on 30 September 2010, Cheryl allows us an intimate glimpse behind the scenes of her busy and fascinating life. Packed full of previously unseen photographs from Cheryl’s own personal collection of favourites, together with dozens of stunning and exclusive new images, this lavishly illustrated account of her remarkable year will be a must-have for her millions of devoted fans.

In the past year, Cheryl Cole has had a number one single, number one album and an UK Ambassador for L’Oreal and a judge on the UK’s most successful television programme, as well as continuing to be an integral member of the most successful girl band the UK has ever seen.

Cheryl says,‘Sometimes I find things happen so quickly, it’s possible to forget all those personal moments that make up the amazing experiences I’ve had over the last year. This book is filled with pictures that capture those moments, my memories and the people I’m closest to. I’m thrilled to see it all together for the first time.

Whilst is sounds quite fun, what is with the cover design? It’s awful! This is the autobiography cover design for the U.K.’s biggest star. What were they thinking?

JoJo releases her new mixtape ‘Can’t Take That Away From Me’

Label drama may have impeded the release of JoJo’s new album, but nothing can stand between her and her fans. The 19-year-old songbird breaks her silence with her mixtape Can’t Take That Away From Me. Soulful sounds and live instruments make up the 11-track set, with production from Chad Hugo of The Neptunes, Kenna, Neff-U, Oak, Beau Dozier, and Jordan Gatsby, who produced the first single “In the Dark.”

While she explores new territory on the collection, it is not necessarily indicative of the sound on her forthcoming studio album All I Want Is Everything.

The empowered singer took to her blog to share her thoughts on the long-awaited release day. “In releasing this mixtape, I’m affirming that even though some have tried they CAN’T TAKE THAT AWAY FROM ME,” she wrote. “What is THAT? My voice, my spirit, my drive, my dreams. As you listen to these songs, I hope that they make your head nod, your mind tick, your emotions move, your belly laugh, and maybe elicit a ’stanky face’ or something 😉 Lol.”

N-Dubz on Breaking America…

N-Dubz are apparently dropping their street slang to crack America.
Dappy, Tulisa and Fazer have recorded their upcoming third album without words including “blood” and “you get me?”, for fear of turning off Yank fans.

Dappy said: “We aren’t using any of those words as they don’t understand them. We’ll keep ‘na, na, niii’, obviously, but not the rest.” He added: “We’ll never use American accents. I hate it when singers go there and do that. You lose respect from British fans.”

Below is the first track Best Behaviour from their new album which is still currently untitled.
